More County Qualifying Times swum at Barnet 100’s

On Sunday our swimmers were in the pool again competing at the Barnet Copthall 100’s meet.

Between them they picked up 6 Gold, 1 Silver and  4 Bronze medals.

They broke 2 Age Group records  – Daniel Schindler 100IM 13 years and Chloe Simmons 100 back 15 years, and swum 11 new county qualifying times with 37 personal bests

Head Coach Luke’s notes on the meet are below.

Tomer Amit did well to try the 100M Fly for the first time also pbs in all his events with 3.2 secs improvement in 100 IM.

Kimia Baradaran 13.05 secs pb in 100M Breast and county times in 100 Free and 100 back.

Georgina Brown county time in the 100M Free,

Josh Foreman continues to improve and has made big improvements to Freestyle technique pbs in 100IM by 8.51 secs and 100 Free by 3.79 secs.

Charlotte Garcia very close to all pbs and county time in 100 Breast.

Chloe Jacobs very close to all pbs County times in all 4 events swum.

Conor Kavanagh really good swim in the 100 Breast came away with a 4.89 secs pb.

Eden Kramer very close to pbs especially on the 100 Free showing great improvements in technique on this stroke.

Elisha Kramer pb on the 100m Back and a county time in the 100M Free.

Adam Martin pbs in every event knocking 4.71 secs off his 100M free time and gaining county times for the 100M free and and 100M IM.

Molly Missah swam all 5 events on offer at this meet -pb by 5.56 secs in 100 Back also pb on 100 Free also swam 100M fly for the first time.

Max Mydat massive 13.79 secs pb in 100 Breast also pb in all events swam county time achieved for 100M IM and 100M Free.

Robyn Mydat two massive pbs, 14.36 secs in 100M Free and 11.78 secs in 100 Breast also county time in 100 Breast.

Dylan Osher pbs set in all 3 events swam with the biggest being 5.31 secs in the 100 Breast away from a county time in the 100M IM.

Kate Peters very close to pbs also great improvement in underwater sections of the race.

Daniel Schindler continues to storm ahead with pbs in every event, the biggest being the 5.31 secs improvement in the 100 Breast. County time in all 3 events swam.

Chloe Simmons was pleased to match her last seasons best of 1.14 on the 100 Backstroke also close to pb on other events and showing good progress in increasing her stroke rate during competitions.

Maddie Simmons very strong 100m Freestyle performance going out for the first 50M in 33.79 showing particular improvement in freestyle stroke length also a county time in that event.

James Slater pb in both the 100 Breast and 100 Free and still continues to move forward with his racing ability every time he gets in the pool.
