East Region Bagcat Champion
Three of our swimmers were in action at the East Region Bagcats over 2 weekends in June where they notched up 24 long course swims between them. Adam Colyer was in dominant form in the breaststroke events collecting a gold medal in the 200m and silver in 100m. He also showed his versatility across all events by finishing 7th overall in the region in the 12 year old boys’ category.
13 year old Joe Gray also medalled taking bronze in the 100m breaststroke. Miranda Willis continued her improvement with a strong all-round performance, especially in the long distance races, which also saw her finish 7th in the girls’ rankings for 11 year olds.
Adam Colyer will now move onto the next level of competition where he will compete in the British Bagcats Nationals in 100m breaststroke.
