More medals and Qualifying Times Set at Barnet and Watford
Several of our swimmers competed in 2 different galas this weekend, the Barnet Copthall Middle Distance Meet and the Watford County Qualifier. They brought home a clutch of medals and many secured county qualifying times. Between them they won 3 speeding tickets and 11 medals, swam 28 personal best times (PBs) and broke 5 junior club records.
Christopher Cox, swimming at Barnet, won 3 golds and broke 3 junior club records. At Watford there were golds for Rebecca Mackett, Maddie Simmons and Miranda Willis; silvers for Ashley Randall and Abigail Smith and bronzes for Zoe Munkley, Adam Nash and Daniel Schindler. Adam Colyer, Nick Michel and Miranda were all awarded speeding tickets. Abigail and Miranda set the other 2 junior club records this weekend.
Adam Colyer acquired another regional qualifying time, whilst all the following added to or improved their county qualifying times; - Abigail, Adam C, Adam N, Ashley, Chloe, Christopher, Daniel, Kimia, Maddie, Megan, Miranda, Nick, Rebecca and Zoe. Georgie B. Georgie I and Jonathan M completed the weekend line-up and all swam at least one PB apiece.
