Speedy Swimming at Summer Sprints!
Eleven Flyers took part in the annual Barnet Copthall sprint meet where they recorded a splendid 32 personal best swims and collected 18 medals between them.
9 year old Megan Davies had an outstanding gala winning 2 gold medals and breaking 2 junior club records in 100m breaststroke and 100m freestyle.
Adam Nash continued his excellent recent form, collecting 4 medals in the 13 year old boys’ category; 3 silvers and 1 bronze.
Other medallists were Rebecca Mackett (2 silvers and 1 bronze), Ashley Randall (1 silver), Daniel Schindler (2 silvers, 1 bronze), Chloe Simmons (2 silvers, 1 bronze) and Maddie Simmons (1 bronze).
Kimia Baradaran, Jonathan Mackett, Isabella Mattey and Kate Peters completed the Flyers squad and all posted some excellent personal best times.
